Money advisors to host Muir's next cost-cutting event at residents meeting
MONEY advisors at Muir are hosting another event to help residents save money on their household bills.
Muir’s money-saving events have helped to identify annual savings of up to £450 per resident so far during 2017.
And the Association’s Money Advisors are aiming to help even more residents cut the cost of utility bills, including gas and electricity, at the open meeting which will also discuss any concerns of residents on Gregory Court.
The Friday, September 29th event at Clayton Baptist Church in Clayton, Bradford, runs from 1pm-3pm.
Muir money advisor Wayne Pearson, pictured here with Tenancy Services Officer Rebecca Miller said: “We are committed to helping residents cut the cost of their household bills.
“Muir’s money advice team has had lots of success in helping residents to reduce their costs at previous events; and we are confident we can help at this event too.
“Our money advisors will be on-hand to obtain the best possible utility deals for Muir residents.”
Any Muir resident wishing to attend the event to access the free service being provided by Muir’s money advice team need only to bring copies of their recent utility bills.
No appointment is necessary and the process takes approximately ten minutes to complete, with no obligation.
The event at Clayton Baptist Church (BD14 6AN) is also an open meeting for Gregory Court residents to disucss any issues they may have.
Tenancy Services Officer for Muir's North Team, Rebecca Miller said: "We can look at addressing queries or concerns residents have with anti-social behaviour, rent or money advice.
"I have also invited the local councillors along to the meeting.
"If you are unable to attend the meeting or would like to discuss any confidential issues, please do not hesitate to contact me on 01244 605141."
