More residents discuss their views with Muir at second engagement event
MUIR’S second resident engagement event took place in Cambridgeshire on Tuesday with both tenants and staff welcoming the wide-ranging discussions.
The event at McCarthy House in Godmanchester, near Huntingdon, followed hot on the heels of the opening session which took place in Chester on June 9th, bringing residents together to air their views about the services they receive.
Muir is seeking to identify the things residents value most as it bids to use the feedback to continue improving the services it offers.
McCartney House resident, Janet Suckling, was one of those attending the resident engagement event.
She said: “Muir had time for us to voice our opinions and the ideas put forwards were excellent.
“The idea of having a resident’s body is a great one.
“The people who attended could get their points over and the speakers were very personable.
“It was also nice to hear from fellow residents who have been involved with the Task and Finish groups.”
The 10am-3pm session welcomed residents from across Cambridgeshire, with Muir’s Assistant Director of Communities and Customer Service, Mark Pearson, and Housing Services Manager, Nick Grubb, among the Association’s staff in attendance on the day.
The last of the three scheduled resident engagement events takes place in Burnley on Thursday, June 15th (details below).
