MORSE CODE MAN RELIVES HIS WARTIME LIFE AS MUIR REMEMBERS D-DAY
AS A Morse Code operator in the Navy, Bob had a different perspective of the Second World War to those who fought on the fields and beaches of Normandy, and indeed in other theatres from 1939-45.
But he remembers his time during the conflict well and the Muir resident was happy to share some of his memories and some of his thoughts as he took time out from his life at one of our sheltered housing schemes.
Remembering D-Day, 75 years on, Bob gave us some insight into his own wartime experiences, and some vivid thoughts into those experienced by others.
