Muir enjoys meeting residents at community fun day

MUIR representatives were on hand to help at a fun filled community event last Saturday.

Colleagues from the Muir Group Housing Association manned the association’s stall at the May 21st fun day organised by Longbarn Residents Association.

Muir staff met with residents at the eventPeople in the community were able to find out all about Muir as they enjoyed music from The Trinity Girls Brass Band at New Horizons School Playing Field in Fallowfield Grove, Longbarn, Warrington.

They ensured the fun day hit the right note while there was also a spell binding display from the impressive Hawkeye Falconry Team.

Morris dancing, face painting, a bouncy castle, an inflatable slide and a host of stalls were available to all those who attended.

Muir's Community Housing Manager for Cheshire East and Warrington, Emma Robinson, who helped her colleagues at the busy Muir stand said: “We had some fantastic fun on the day and it was great to meet so many people who came to speak to us and learn more about Muir.

“We met one resident of Peasley Close who has been a Muir Group resident for 12 years and couldn’t be happier.

“It was good to be part of such a successful community event and Longbarn Residents Association did a brilliant job of putting on the fun day.

“We were giving away Muir stationary, balloons, magnets and bags and we really enjoyed being a part of things.”
