MUIR ENVIRONMENTAL DAYS HELP RESIDENTS GET COURT UP IN GREEN’S GREEN EVENTS

TWO of Muir’s environmental events have helped residents bin unwanted items following lockdown.

Environmental days held in Winsford and Chester have enabled residents to rid themselves of unwanted large or bulky items and help reduce fly-tipping.

The events, at Glebe Green and Charlotte Court, saw Muir Tenancy Services and Sustainment Officers, help residents dispose of their items in skips, along with members of the MPS Muir Property Solutions Team.

Muir staff They also got busy litter picking as well as giving staff the chance to discuss any grounds maintenance and any general issues with residents.

More community engagement events are being arranged at other Muir schemes in the forthcoming months.

“It was great to be back out and about supporting residents in Glebe Green and Charlotte Court,” Emma Robinson, Muir’s Housing Services Manager said.

Muir properties“Our Environmental Days have always provided great opportunities to help residents rid themselves of large unwanted items – and discuss any queries they may have.

“It’s also a good way to reduce fly-tipping in communities and ensure residents can remain proud of the places they live.”

Muir community engagement events scheduled to take place in October and November include Northallerton, Heron Place, Canberra Court and St Chads.
