MUIR PROUD TO PROVIDE TWENTY NEW NELSON HOMES AS AFFORDABLE DEVELOPMENT COMPLETES
TWENTY brand new Muir homes are ready to be enjoyed by new residents near Burnley.
Muir has taken handover of the two and three-bedroom properties in Nelson, all of which are being made available for affordable rent.
The Barkerhouse Road homes, built by John Turner Construction Group, mean more affordable housing options for people in the area.
“We are delighted to have taken handover of our 20-home scheme at Barkerhouse Road in Nelson,” Muir Development Officer, Annette Westwater said.
“I am looking forward to seeing them occupied and enjoyed by our new residents.
“The properties are very eye-catching and this development will provide great places for people to live affordable lifestyles.”
Work on the new homes began early in 2020 after permission for the properties was granted with the support of Stanley Investments following a 2019 planning meeting at Nelson Town Hall.
Designed by Eden Building Design, the homes help to underline Muir’s commitment to provision affordable housing in the area.
