MUIR SHORTLISTED IN THREE CATEGORIES FOR PRESTIGIOUS 2019 NORTHERN HOUSING AWARDS
MUIR has been shortlisted in three categories for the prestigious 2019 Northern Housing Awards.
The awards, which take place in May, recognise outstanding achievement by housing providers throughout the north of the UK.
This year’s awards sees Muir shortlisted for Landlord of the Year, Best Resident Involvement Initiative, and Tenant of the Year as the Association recognised the outstanding commitment of inspirational resident, Daniel Pendlebury, to his community.
Muir’s Chief Executive, Catherine Dixson (pictured) said: “We are absolutely thrilled to see that everybody’s hard work has been recognised by the Northern Housing Awards 2019.
“It is fantastic to be shortlisted in these three categories and we are delighted to be a part of these awards once more this year.
“This is wonderful reward for everyone’s efforts, including our Tenant of the Year nomination, Daniel Pendlebury.
“We very much look forward to enhancing our services even further for Muir residents and building on these achievements.”
Muir Group Housing Association has been shortlisted for Landlord of the Year following its overall contribution during 2018-19, which has included the launch of its revitalised Property Services department.
The Association’s new National Resident Group and its Brighter Days initiative to reduce social isolation have contributed to its Best Resident Involvement Initiative inclusion.
And Daniel Pendlebury has been shortlisted for the Tenant of the Year Award for his continued commitment to helping homeless people in his community and the support provided by his Northwich in Need volunteer group.
