MUIR’S ‘BEAUTIFUL’ NEW BUNGALOWS PROVIDE AN ITALIAN PARADISE

TWO Muir residents say they’ve ‘found paradise’ after collecting the keys to one of the Association’s brand-new bungalows.

Sergio and Maria Colaceci say their “fantastic” new home in Alsager ticks all the boxes as they carry plenty of their own into the bungalow they’ve been so excited to move into.

The couple are moving from Stone to be just a stone’s throw from Maria’s daughter.

And Serio believes it’s the perfect move for them as he looks forward to spending more time in the garden, giving him a slice of life from his native Italy – weather permitting of course.

Sergio and Maria “It’s fantastic – it’s a paradise,” Sergio said.

“We have found everything to be very good with the bungalow and the area it’s in.

“It has a beautiful garden which we’re looking forward to enjoying.”

The property is one of six one and two-bed bungalows Muir has provided in Alsager - all for affordable rent.

Built by Stuart Milne Homes, they are situated on former farmland close to the edge of town, and with great access to the M6.

“The kitchen is lovely and the bathroom is a good, comfortable size with lots of space to park outside,” said Maria.

“We can’t wait to settle in.

Muir staff“It’s wonderful to be on an estate like this in social housing.

“Muir have been very helpful and supportive and we think that will continue.”

The bungalows have all been made available for affordable rent and are set to be followed by two two-bed houses later in the year.

Muir Tenancy Services Officer, Samantha Walton (left) said: “It’s great to see residents moving into these new Muir homes already.

“We hope they’ll be very happy.”
