MUIR’S MPS MAINTENANCE TEAM RECOGNISED FOR QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

Muir Property Solutions has received top accreditations for its commitment to quality and the environment.

MPS provide construction activities to more than 3,500 Muir homes, responding to repairs issues reported by residents and upgrading the Association’s properties in the North West.

Following a rigorous audit of MPS business processes, International working standards accreditor, QMS (Quality Management System) confirmed the company had retained its ISO9001:2015 and ISO1400:2015 standards.

They announced that MPS are fully compliant in both Quality Management and Environmental Management.

“The ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) accreditation awarded by QMS demonstrates that we rise to the needs of customers and other stakeholders, by having a framework in place to consistently deliver quality services.

“It shows we are very environmentally aware too, and that’s something we’ve been working hard to improve.”

ISO 9001:2015 demonstrates the ability of MPS to effectively and efficiently provide quality management systems while continuously improving our commitment to service delivery and strengthening internal processes.

As well as recycling 75% of all waste, 25% of that figure is being used for energy.

MPS has dramatically reduced its activities next to flora and fauna, the fossil fuels used in vehicles, and noise and dust created by work undertaken.

Other improvements include large reductions in the use of plastic cups, ink cartridges and electrical office equipment.

Accreditation shows MPS has also retained a strong customer focus, the involvement of top management, and a drive for continual improvement.

MPS van This includes the completion of Customer Satisfaction Surveys at each visit, and the development of strategies for improving performance and service.

Routine maintenance of the MPS Training policy also ensures employees receive appropriate training to achieve high levels of competence and quality.

“To retain our ISO9001 Quality Management and ISO14001 Environmental Management accreditations with no non-compliances is brilliant,” MPS Managing Director, Barry Brussels said.
