NEW CANOPIES GIVE MUIR LIVING RESIDENTS PORCHES TO BE PROUD OF WITH MPS
MUIR Living residents in Bury have been posing by new porches as canopies and fencing receive an MPS makeover.
The residents at Fusilier Court have seen Muir Property Solutions (MPS) install new porch canopies complete with downlighting, as well as new fencing at the front of their homes.
Residents say it’s given them a much brighter and open feel to entrances in their community as the upgrades help give properties a facelift.
“The canopy is lovely,” Maureen Bolton (pictured), a Muir Living resident of 25 years said.
“There is a nice bright light and I feel much more secure.
“It’s improved the access to my home and the fence is keeping more windy weather away from the house.
"The wood is nice and it looks a lot better than before and the MPS lads were really smashing.
“They cleaned up after themselves each day and they were brilliant, they couldn’t help you enough.”
Maureen says some of the reasons she loves being Muir Living resident are that she gets to have her own front door and attend regular events in communal areas.
MPS Planned Services Supervisor, Phil Tinkley said: “It’s a lovely scheme to work on and residents have made the lads feel very welcome.
“We’ve had some really positive feedback.
“The entrances are now a lot brighter and people feel more secure so they are generally very happy.”
