NEW LIFE AND AFFORDABLE LIVING BEING BREATHED INTO DISUSED LAND BY MUIR

DISUSED land is to be given a new lease of life as it helps to develop futures for more Muir residents.

Five new homes are to be built at the disused car park in Winsford as Muir continues to provide more and more affordable homes for the area.

Work on the five 2-bed homes at St Chad’s Fields began in January following public consultations with residents.

It is hoped that regeneration of the site will give a helping hand to people in the area looking to enjoy an affordable lifestyle with Muir.

Muir staff “This is a great opportunity to increase the number of affordable homes in Winsford,” Alex Fury, Muir’s Assistant Director of Assets and Growth (pictured) said.

“We’re pleased to be regenerating a disused site by giving people and families high quality homes that they can afford to enjoy.

St Chads“Muir has long been a provider of affordable homes in the Winsford community and we’re delighted to continue building upon our fantastic relationship with the town.

“We believe these homes will complement our existing stock, along with our nearby development at Darnhall where eight 1-bed and eight 2-bed apartments are under construction.

St Chads “We look forward to seeing all of these homes enabling new Muir residents to remain in the community they love.”

The St Chad’s homes are being built for Muir by Brenig Construction and are expected to be completed in late 2021.

The development also includes seven parking spaces additional to those available for residents of the new properties.
