NEW MPS SUPERVISOR ‘HUMBLED’ TO HELP MUIR RESIDENTS

A NEW MPS Site Manager says he’s humbled to help Muir residents in his latest role.
Nick Collins began life at Muir Property Solutions (MPS) working ‘on the tools’ – helping to install new kitchens and bathrooms for residents.
Now he’s managing the work being done to ensure anyone getting a new kitchen or bathroom gets it to a great standard, while using his experience to develop the skills of those around him too.
“It’s very good to work with Muir residents and we’re inspired to deliver the best product we can,” Nick said.
“I came to MPS as a plumber and gas engineer helping to fit bathrooms and kitchens.
“I then began getting more involved in the running of sites and became a working supervisor.
“Now I’ve stepped into the site management role, which I’m very humbled by.”
Nick spoke shortly after he and his team completed new kitchens for Muir residents in Great Barrow.
“A new kitchen or bathroom takes about ten days so it can be quite intrusive,” Nick said.
“But we try to make sure Muir residents are comfortable as we deliver the best product we can.”
Feedback from residents at Great Barrow included words from Pauline Rudd who said: “The team that worked on it did fantastic.
“They respected my home and myself – they were very pleasant and professional.
“MPS made things as easy for me as possible.”
Another Great Barrow resident, Susan Eardley added: “From when they first arrived the MPS team were absolutely brilliant.
“They worked so hard and I can’t praise them all enough.”
