NEW RESIDENT RETURNS TO ‘FOREVER HOME’ IN COMMUNITY SHE LOVES
A NEW resident is 'returning home' to the place where she grew up and a community she loves.
Nadine Guy says she’s come back to enjoy a “home for life” as she returns to the Grange Park community in Blackpool to be closer to family.
Her parents will now be just a few doors away and Nadine is already feeling settled in a place where she knows community spirit is strong.
“I’m home,” Nadine (pictured right, with mum Dawn) said when she received her house keys from us.
“I feel like I’ve got my home for life here.”
Neighbours were already showing their community spirit when they came out to welcome her back to the area.
And Nadine says she can’t wait to decorate her new home as she settles in, with her daughter looking forward to a K-Pop themed bedroom.
“We’re thrilled to be housing Nadine in a place she loves,” Barbara Stephenson, Muir Tenancy Services Officer said.
“Having family around can be so important and there’s a really close-knit community here.
“Community is key to providing a strong sense of wellbeing and its exciting for Nadine and her family, as well as her friends and neighbours, to see her return.”
