NEW RESIDENT SAYS MUIR’S SOCIAL SCHEMES PROVIDE ‘BETTER WAY OF LIFE’
A NEW Muir resident says her quality of living has improved after praising the Association's new affordable homes for providing a ‘better way of life’.
Jane Sinclair recently moved into a new Muir bungalow in Alsager in order to be closer to her son and grandchildren.
And she says the standard of homes on the Muir estate can help break down stigmas surrounding social housing, and was delighted with the service she’s received from the Association too.
“It’s a beautiful bungalow and Muir have done a fantastic job of incorporating the affordable estate into one of bought homes,” Jane said.
“It’s a social scheme that’s giving people a better way of life and I can take pride in where I live.
“Estates like this will help break down some of the stigmas of social housing – I love it.
“My quality of life has improved after moving from my flat. It’s made a big difference.
“The room sizes are great and it’s really quiet too.”
The Fybromyalgia sufferer says her condition has also improved since moving to the bungalow from her former flat, with the peaceful estate giving her welcome relief from noises which can trigger painful symptoms.
“I’m feeling a lot more comfortable and settled,” said Jane.
“Muir have been so helpful too and really good with how everything was explained to me before I moved in
“I’ve received some really good customer care from the maintenance team.
“The people on the phone were really polite and the person they sent couldn’t do enough to help.
“I don’t want to be anywhere else.”
