PARTY TIME FOR MUIR RESIDENTS CELEBRATING REVAMPED SHELTERED SCHEME
IT WAS party time for residents celebrating their recently revamped sheltered housing scheme.
Residents at Tweedsmuir in Chester put their glad rags on to have some fun in and out of the sun as they raised a glass to the refurbishment.
They have received new kitchens and bathrooms, and seen communal areas refreshed, giving them plenty to celebrate on a glorious afternoon.
The residents enjoyed music, quizzes, and plenty of delicious cakes as they all got together on the day.
“It’s fabulous to see everyone enjoying themselves on such a wonderful day,” Donna Hufton, Muir’s Tweedsmuir scheme manager said.
“Everyone is thrilled with the work that’s been here done by the Muir Property Solutions (MPS) team.
“The kitchens and bathrooms all look fantastic and the changes to the communal area make a huge difference and everyone is delighted.
“It’s great to see so many smiles,” she added.
Work began at the scheme in January as Muir invested in a host of new facilities for Tweedsmuir.
An official reopening is being planned for later this year.
