PROPERTIES IN PETERBOROUGH PROVIDE MORE NEW HOMES FOR PEOPLE AND FAMILIES
HOMES at Great Haddon are edging closer to completion as we prepare to provide more new properties in Peterborough.
We’re almost ready to open the doors to the last of the 28 homes we’re delivering – both for affordable rent and for shared ownership.
The mix of one-bed bungalows and two and three-bed houses helps bring a variety of options for people and families in the area.
“We’re pleased these homes will provide people with great places to live in Peterborough,” Jonathan White, Muir Development Officer said.
“With 20 available for affordable rent and eight for shared ownership with Homes By Muir, we’ve been working together with developers, Vistry Group, to provide homes people can be proud of.
“Having taken handover of the first12 homes earlier in the year, we’re looking forward to seeing the remaining 16 complete before the end of 2026.
The Great Haddon homes are the latest addition to hit our streets.
They form part of our Building New Homes Strategy, which will see us deliver 500 new-build homes from 2022-27.
“We’re delivering on our commitment to our Building New Homes Strategy and delighted to see so many people and families loving where they live,” Alex Fury, Assistant Director of Development at Muir said.
“New homes like these help keep communities together at prices they can afford.
“They are the latest in a number of recent developments we’ve provided in our East region, including those in Ketton, Melton South Kesteven, Huntingdon and an ongoing build of 46 in Ely.
“We look forward to delivering on our Building New Homes Strategy."
