TOP LANDLORD RATINGS RETAINED BY MUIR IN 2020

MUIR has retained its top ratings from regulators as the Association continues to uphold its reputation as an outstanding social landlord.

The Regulator of Social Housing awarded Muir G1 and V1 ratings for Governance and Viability, meaning it retains the highest possible ratings in the sector.

Catherine Dixson, Muir’s Chief Executive, says the ratings reflect the Association’s high levels of commitment and desire to improve, and how standards have been maintained despite the challenges of COVID-19.

“Muir’s status as a committed social housing provider is something we are very proud of and we’re delighted with this recognition from the RSH.

Muir staff “Staff have risen to the extra challenge of COVID-19 and shown fantastic versatility to adapt to new ways of working.

“We’ll continue to deliver homes residents can be happy in and services that support them and suit their needs.”

The RSH regulates registered providers of social housing to promote a viable, efficient and well-governed sector able to deliver homes fulfilling a range of needs.

Its November 25th announcement confirmed Muir would retain the coveted G1 and V1 ratings it was awarded following a rigorous assessment in 2019.
