WE’VE RAISED THE ROOF ON 24 NEW LINCOLNSHIRE HOMES
WE’VE just raised the roof on 24 new homes in a village famous for its gravity pull.
We’ve finished 10 new shared ownership homes and 14 for affordable rent in the rural village of Colsterworth, famous for being the birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton who developed the Universal Theory of Gravity.
The Bourne Road homes have opened the doors to new residents as we developed our own theory, to help cut the cost of rural living and provide properties that give affordable options for people to remain in places they love.
“These new homes are providing people with plenty of affordable housing options in this charming Lincolnshire village near Grantham,” Sophie Whittingham, Muir Development Manager said.
“We’re worked with developers, Balfour Beatty, to provide a range of one to four bed homes, including flats and bungalows, so there’s something for everyone.”
“It’s great to be providing more new homes in Lincolnshire for affordable rent, and our shared ownership opportunities are giving people a chance to get on the property ladder too.”
The homes follow hot on the heels of another Lincolnshire development after we recently completed 21 new homes at Chater Field in Ketton.
“The cost of living in rural areas can price local people out of places they love, so these homes will enable them to remain in their community,” Alex Fury, Assistant Director of Development at Muir said.
"We’re pleased to be providing affordable homes in rural Lincolnshire where we’re helping to keep communities together.”
