WORK BEGINS ON QUALITY MUIR APARTMENTS IN CHESHIRE TOWN
NEW Muir apartments are going to give people more great housing in Winsford.
Muir contractors have moved onto the site at Darnhall School Lane as the Association prepares to bring eight 1-bed and eight 2-bed apartments to the area.
Funded by Homes England and built by Paul Cook Developments and M. Stone Construction, the apartments will transform derelict land into new affordable housing for people to enjoy.
“The apartments are a great addition to our stock and will make a massive difference to the local area,” Sophie Whittingham, Muir Development Officer for the scheme said.
“The land has been derelict and overgrown for some years now so it’s great to see it bought back into use to meet local demand for quality affordable housing.”
The apartments are the latest Muir development to provide properties in the Winsford area, with the Darnhall site situated close to the Association’s neighbouring homes at Ford Court, St Chad’s Fields and Glebe Green estate.
“We’re really happy to be providing more affordable housing in this area,” Alex Fury, Muir’s Assistant Director of Assets and Growth said.
“Muir’s housing commitments here continues to help people get the accommodation they need.
“These apartments mean we’re able to provide an even greater range of properties with which to suit their needs.”
