YOU CAN PHONE US TO MAKE SURE MUIR COLLEAGUES AND CONTRACTORS ARE WHO THEY SAY WHEN THEY CALL

WHEN we call you, or arrive at your home, you can check to see who you’re talking too if something doesn’t feel right.

Our repairs teams and contractors always wear uniforms, carry identity badges and drive clearly branded vehicles.

Ask to see their identity badge before allowing them into your home or call us on 0300 123 1222 if you think something’s wrong – particularly if they’ve turned up unannounced.

You can also call us back on 0300 123 1222 if you receive a call from someone saying they’re from Muir, but suspect they’re not who they say they are.

 

What we say…

Muir staff“We tell you when we’re coming to your home for repairs, planned maintenance, or regular services such as gas or electrical checks,” Liam Radford, Muir’s Head of Customer Experience said.

“If someone turns up without an appointment – ask them to wait in their van while you call us, so we can confirm who they are.

“If you’re uncertain about someone who’s calling you, also feel free to ring us back to check they’re from Muir.

“They should be happy for you to do this.”
