AUTUMN ‘SPRING CLEAN’ HELPS MUIR’S BLACKPOOL RESIDENTS BLOW COBWEBS AWAY

MUIR staff helped Blackpool residents blow away some cobwebs with an autumn ‘spring clean’ ahead of Christmas.

Members of Muir’s North housing team hit the streets in the town’s Grange Park area to help residents rid themselves of unwanted items.

They teamed up with the Muir Property Solutions (MPS) team to remove sofas, beds, broken appliances, and more.

Muir staff “It was great to help residents at Grange Park in Blackpool,” Liz Christian, Income Services Officer at Muir said.

“They made the most of the chance to have some bulky items taken away for free.

“We were happy to help take anything they didn’t want off their hands for them.

“And it was really good to be out and about in the Grange Park community with residents too.”

Muir’s Tenancy Sustainment team also took the chance to leave leaflets for more than 120 residents offering support applying for benefits, budgeting, tackling cost of living, wellbeing opportunities and more.
