HOUSING TEAM WORK TOGETHER WITH RESIDENTS TO HELP KEEP COMMUNITY ‘LITTER FREE’
TEAM members have been working together with residents to help keep their community litter free.
Members of our North Housing Team took to the streets with residents in Northallerton, and our Executive Director Customers and Colleagues, when they tidied pathways, green spaces and communal areas too.
Residents also made use of a skip we provided to rid themslves of any unwanted items as they continue to take pride in their community.
“It was fun to be out and about engaging with residents and helping to keep their community free from litter,” Jo Commons, Muir’s North Team Housing Manager said.
“Residents take lots of pride in their community and it was great to help them maintain the feel-good factor on their streets.
“We also did a walkabout with our grounds maintenance contractor, Tivoli, to see how we can enhance green spaces in the area.
“Thanks to residents who got involved helping to tidy communal areas – it was really nice to lend a hand.”
As well as housing team members and residents, our Executive Director of Customers and Colleagues, Jackie Perry, also helped fill bin bags on the day.
“Showing people and communities we care is really important to us,” Jackie said.
“I loved getting back out in Northallerton with the housing team, meeting residents and helping to live up to our customer commitment.”
