WELCOMING THE NEW CHAIR OF YOUR NATIONAL RESIDENTS GROUP (NRG)!

WELCOME to the new Chair of your National Residents Group!

As the new NRG Chair, Anne Parker is committed to working together with residents and us, to help enhance services you receive and maximise quality of life.

A shared homeowner with us, Anne says she’s looking forward to using her skills to giving residents a greater voice and improving services we deliver.

She will also serve as a member of our Group Customer Services Committee.

Anne applied to Chair the NRG along with dozens of other residents during a recruitment campaign last year.

Here’s what Anne says...

NRG member“I’m keen to be involved with the NRG for Muir because if I can use my skills and experience to improve things for other residents then I’ll find that immensely rewarding,” Anne said.

“I enjoy meeting new people, creating a positive atmosphere and being constructive.

“I also love researching all sorts of topics and learning new things – so I am keen to contribute in whatever way I can.”

More about Anne...

Anne has a Masters Degree in Law, which she hopes will help her with housing law principles and housing association governance.

She’s self-employed and works as a trainer and coach, mostly in the construction and engineering sectors.

Thanks to our previous NRG Chair...

Anne replaces outgoing Chair, Chris Bishop – a founder member of the NRG who served as Chair for six years from 2019-2025, chairing 35 NRG meetings.

Chris dedicated his time as a volunteer to work with other NRG members, and us, to strengthen the customer voice and shape services that make things easier, smarter and better for you.

What is the NRG and how could I get involved?

The NRG ensures residents have a greater say in how we work, providing governance while also helping to influence service improvement and shaping our future.

Members live across all our four regions - North, East, Cheshire East and Warrington, Cheshire West and Chester.

They attend regular meetings throughout the year and work with us to make a difference - helping to maxmise people's quality of life.
