£400,000 REVAMP HELPING TO ENHANCE ‘WONDERFUL’ WARRINGTON COMMUNITY
A HUGE £400,000 revamp of homes and green spaces in a Warrington community has seen a host of improvements to properties and communal areas.
We’ve just completed the housing enhancements at Arran Close which included new lighting, soffits and guttering, landscaping and more.
It’s helped give the community a more modern, attractive and clean appearance while protecting properties long-term condition and reducing future maintenance needs.
“We’re proud to have delivered these improvements for this wonderful community at Arran Close,” Phil Tinkley, Planned Maintenance Team Leader said.
“The combination of building and environmental improvements provides a consistent, modern finish across the whole scheme.
“We’ve addressed key maintenance needs to customers with homes and communal spaces that look and feel more attractive too.”
Improvements we’ve made include:
· Replacement soffits with new modern materials which help reduce future maintenance while looking better too.

Replacing gutters with new modern systems and enhance rainwater flow from roofs while protecting homes.
· Specialist biocidal treatment to roofs to remove and control organic growth such as moss, algae and lichen – and help keep homes looking fresh.
· Upgraded, modern lighting in and around property entrances to improve visibility while helping customers feel safe.
· Improving landscaped communal areas in grounds surrounding properties including cutting back vegetation to compliment great homes with great green spaces.
