HAMPERS HELPING RESIDENTS HAVE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS AFTER BENEFITING FROM TENANCY SUPPORT

OUR Tenancy Sustainment team have been helping ensure Muir residents have a merry Christmas with some festive hampers.
Donated by the Re-Imagine Resource Centre, the goodie-packed hampers mean residents receiving tenancy sustainment support can create a special Christmas.
Sophie Powter, Tenancy Sustainment Officer in our East region has been handing out hampers to residents in the area.
“It’s been great to help make Christmas a merry one for ten of our residents with these hampers,” Sophie said.
"The tenancy support we provide can make a massive difference to residents when times are tough.
“The cost of Christmas can put extra pressure on pockets and we’re pleased to help any resident who may be finding things hard during the festive season.
“Any worries you have about yourself or your home during difficult times can be overcome by working with us to resolve issues in ways you're comfortable with.”
The “phenomenal” support Anthony Miller said he received from Muir included accessing funding, debt advice, new white goods and a referral to an external agency for support with employment.
We also recently helped Teresa Howard with a garden clearance, access to internal funding for flooring, new white goods and more.
