HERE’S SOME MERRY ‘MONEY-SAVING’ TIPS FOR CHRISTMAS!

CHRISTMAS can be costly, but you can also keep costs down, so you don’t get January blues.

Here’s some great ways to make sure Christmas doesn’t wipe out your wallet.

1. Set your budget. Write down how much you  can afford to spend – then write down how much of that you'll spend on presents for each person, and on food for the big day.

2. Don’t leave shopping until the last minute. Buy what festive food you can earlier in the month when you get better deals.

3. Make sure you pay your usual bills. Don’t dip into that money for presents, or your Christmas could crash!

4. Shop around for the best deals – you could make a saving on Christmas presents by shopping around online or in the high street.

5. Don’t spend lots on fancy wrapping paper or bows and ribbons. Cheaper rolls look just as good and it all gets ripped off in the heat of the moment anyway.

6. Steer clear of expensive Christmas cards. You may still have some left over from last year. Otherwise, write a nice Christmas letter for someone to cherish.

*Don’t
forget - Spending time with people rather than spending money on them can often mean more. We’re sure they’d love to see you, and you’d love to see them too!
