LETTING US INTO YOUR HOME HELPS US ACT FAST ON DAMP AND MOULD
WE WIPE out mould when you report it so we can keep you safe.
Damp and mould can be dangerous to your health, so we respond quickly to remove it whenever you report it to us.
That’s why it’s important you provide access when we make an appointment to treat a damp and mould issue in your home.
If we get no access after three attempts, you could be served with a court order allowing us to enter your home, because being able to treat damp and mould is vital for your health and safety.
What happens?
When you report a mould issue to us, we’ll act fast by...
- Responding within 24 hours for emergency mould issues
- Responding within five working days for non-emergency mould issues
- Responding within 10 working days if an inspection is required to investigate the issues
These timescales help ensure you’re protected from damp and mould issues.
Failing to provide us with access to your home to deal with a damp and mould issue is a breach of your tenancy agreement.
How we remove mould…
The process usually takes less than one hour. We work with environmentally friendly, odourless products that are safe for pets and people.
We use them to wash mould away from your walls, windows, and other areas – killing it and removing its roots before providing a protective barrier for added defence.
We work with ventilation specialists, Envirovent to ensure your home is properly ventilated – reducing breeding grounds for mould.
