MUIR LIVING LOCATIONS GET SET FOR SPRING THANKS TO GROUNDS MAINTENANCE TEAM
GREEN spaces at our Muir Living locations are all set for spring as grounds maintenance teams brave the cold weather to get green fingered.
Our independent living schemes at Shalom Lodge in Blackpool and McCartney House in Godmanchester both welcomed Tivoli operatives to clear shrubs, prune bushes and plenty more in their grounds.
Their efforts have helped maintain access to bin stores, ensure pathways remain clear and made sure the two Muir Living locations look fresh for when warmer weather returns.

"It’s fantastic to see how these Muir Living locations are looking,” Jane Warren, Supported Housing Officer at Muir said.
“We know how important tidy green spaces are to Muir Living residents and we’re pleased to ensure they look their best through windows and when stepping outside.
“It’s great to see work like this being done as it’s a reminder spring is on the way.
“We’re proud to maintain great places where people can continue to enjoy an independent lifestyle as part of a creative and caring community.”

We work with Tivoli to maintain green spaces in our communities.
Simon Rudkin, Muir Community Housing Manager said: “The partnership we have with Tivoli is really important in helping people to take pride in places they love.
“We’re pleased to ‘take an interest in the area you live’ as part of our Customer Commitment.”
