NEW WINDOWS ON THE WORLD HELP GIVE RESIDENTS MUIR WARMTH

RESIDENTS are enjoying having new windows on the world as we upgrade homes in Burnley.

The new windows and doors are being installed at properties in Tentre to make sure people’s homes continue to look their best while keeping more heat inside.

Previous windows had begun to lose their good looks and become less efficient, so we’re making sure the new windows and doors help cut the cost of energy bills while enhancing the appearance of their homes too.

“I’m very happy with the new windows,” Jayne Masden, Muir resident said.

“It’s so much warmer in my home now.

“The operatives were polite and worked very hard to get the job done in a clean and organised manner.

“They cleaned up after themselves and left everything as the found it too.”

We offered residents a range of door styles to choose from, giving them the chance to have their home enhanced in a way that meant more to them.

We’re fitting a total of 12 new doors and 87 new windows to the 18 Tentre homes.

“We’re loving making a difference to people’s homes in Tentre,” Phil Tinkley, Muir Planned Maintenance Team Leader said.

“New double-glazed windows and doors won't just make people’s homes more attractive, but they’ll make a real difference to energy bills too.

“The upgrade will help ensure these homes continue to reach the Decent Homes Standard as we live up to our Customer Commitment and help cut energy costs for customers.”
