STATE-OF-THE-ART STORAGE HEATERS GIVING ENERGY EFFICIENT UPGRADE TO 72 HOMES
STATE-OF-THE-ART storage heaters are helping us ensure 72 electrically heated homes become more energy efficient.
The new Dimplex Quantum storage heaters offer enhanced heat control, better energy efficiency, and improved performance.
The 72-home upgrade will help support our Sustainability initiative as we work towards our Net Zero Carbon goals, while reducing energy costs for customers.
“This investment is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining safe, warm and energy-efficient homes while supporting our wider sustainability goals,” Simon McLachlan, Muir’s Sustainability Project Manager said.
“Developments in storage heater technologies mean we’re pleased to offer a solution to older models that help improve thermal comfort and provide customers with a warmer and more comfortable living environment.
“The new heaters offer improved heat control, better energy efficiency and more reliable performance, helping customers stay comfortable throughout the colder months.”
We're committed to improving the sustainability of our homes and reducing the environmental impact of the way we work.
Making our homes more energy efficient means they'll require less fuel to keep warm — helping to reduce the amount of carbon emissions produced from properties and helping the environment.
We want to ensure all our homes receive an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of Band C by 2030.
