Volunteers Week - The NRG
WE’RE celebrating some of the Muir residents who volunteer their time as part of National Volunteers Week 2024 (June 3rd - 9th).
THE members of your National Residents Group (NRG) volunteer some of their free time to help maximise Muir residents’ quality of life.
The work they do helps enhance the services you receive, working with us and the Muir Group Board to identify areas for improvement.
NRG members meet regularly to discuss Muir’s performance and suggest how we can make things easier, smarter and better for you.
We wanted to recognise them as part of Volunteers Week 2024.
“NRG members volunteer to help ensure Muir residents get the best from the homes and services we provide,” Jackie Perry, Muir’s Executive Director of Customer Experience said.
“They help give our customers a greater voice and are dedicated to working with us to achieve positive outcomes.
“Some NRG members have been working with us since the very early days of the National Residents Group, formed in 2018.
“Others have joined as the NRG has developed, and their commitment to shaping our services and providing greater governance at Muir is fantastic.
“We’d like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to the NRG and recognise their efforts as part of Volunteers Week 2024.
“Their feedback, commitment and time they volunteer to help maximise residents’ quality of life is invaluable.”
