WE’RE DOING EVEN MORE TO ENSURE YOU REMAIN GAS SAFE!

BEING 100% compliant with your gas safety shows how we care about you and look after your home.  

We regularly inspect your gas appliances to ensure they don’t present a danger to you – and now we’re rolling out further training for colleagues, because we want to do even more.  

Tenancy Services Officers, Customer Experience Advisors and more members of our maintenance teams will all receive training.  

 

 People cooking“We take your gas safety seriously, and while we maintain 100% compliance as your landlord, we also want to do more to help keep you safe,” Sofia McFadyen, Muir’s Head of Compliance said.  

Extra training will help more colleagues spot signs of potential dangers, enable them to recognise the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning and give them the confidence to act swiftly and correctly.  

“It'll help more of us to identify issues when we visit your home so we can be more responsive,  as we continue to live up to our Customer Commitment.”  

 

 Gas Safety Checks videoAs your landlord, we have a legal obligation to carry out an annual gas service in your home.  

It’s very important that you allow the engineer access to perform these vital checks so we can identify any potential risk to you and your family.

This service is very important. Faulty gas appliances can cause death from undetected fumes.   

Landlord Gas Safety Certificates must be renewed every year by a registered Gas Safe engineer.
