WE’VE GOT ROOFING WORKS COVERED AT SUPPORTED SCHEME
WE’VE got roofing work covered for residents at a supported housing scheme following a £65,000 waterproofing project.
The 4,000 square foot roof at Brook View in Northampton has been refurbished with a new protective coating, helping to give it a new lease of life.
The new Sika coating is specifically designed to waterproof roofs while giving them a fresh-faced look as we continue to keep more of our higher-rise residents safe and dry inside their homes.
“The investment helps ensure Brook View continues to reach the Decent Homes Standard,” Dan Henson, Muir Planned Works Surveyor said.
“It’s a major investment into the building and shows how we’re committed to keeping people safe.
“We’re delighted to complete the project for residents at Brook View.”
The Brook View roof revamp is the latest in a series of improvements we’ve made to our high-rise homes.
It follows hot on the heels of a complete re-roofing project at Fern Court last year, as well as one at nearby Benham Court in 2023.
Other recent investments include a £240,000 two-phase flat roof replacement at Dinmore Place in Blackpool and new flat roofs at Westerham Walk, Reading.
“We’ve invested heavily in roofs at our higher-rise homes, spending more than £1.2million on these projects alone,” Wayne Kenny, Muir Contracts Manager said.
“We’re pleased to provide this level of investment into these properties – helping people to take pride in places they love while continuing to live up to our Customer Commitment."
