WINSFORD ESTATES ‘GLOWING’ AFTER WE GOT TOGETHER TO HELP RESIDENTS
OUR Winsford estates are glowing after we worked together to help ensure they're well-kept through winter.
Colleagues from across the business came together with grounds maintenance teams and residents to remove litter, waste and unwanted items for people living in almost 400 Muir homes there.
It means Glebe Green and St Chads residents can continue to take pride in their community as we showed how we ‘take an interest in the areas you live’ as part of our Customer Commitment by supporting communities and places people love.
“It was good to be out supporting our communities in Winsford,” Jamie Hogarth, Muir Tenancy Services Officer said.
“People from different departments leant a huge hand so we can help the community look its best – and we were delighted by the support of grounds maintenance contractor, Tivoli, and a resident who's part of the community council's litter picking team.
“We all worked together to make a massive difference and we were pleased to help residents remove unwanted items – providing skips and waste removal vans for everyone to use.

“We really enjoyed speaking with residents and supporting them during the day and it was great to see how well the community continues to look after work had been done.”
Five large waste skips and three waste vans were all filled as unwanted items were removed to the nearby recycling centre and litter pickers helped ensure green spaces and pathways were clear of any rubbish.
Thanks to everyone who took time to work together with us on the day.
