Get Online, Get Digital!

 

Muir are keen to support residents to get online.

 

You may know that the UK Government is driving the digital age; this means that all government services will be provided online by 2020. Retail companies, and service driven organisations are already providing online services very successfully. Most employment opportunities are now only advertised on line, and in the near future some government services such as welfare benefits, tax and pensions will only be available on line

 

Going online can be a daunting task if you don’t have the confidence or skills you need, or you simply just don’t know where to begin!  Plus, being able to afford equipment or internet access can also be off putting.

 

We are putting together a digital inclusion programme to that will help and encourage any Muir resident to get online.

 

Digital Champions

If you have some spare time, and are confident using the internet, we are looking for volunteers to help others. This is a great opportunity to get involved, make friends, and develop your own skills.
