OP Purchase

As Catherine mentioned in her welcome, Muir has recently completed the purchase of Warrington-based OP Building Maintenance Services Ltd (OPBMS).

OPBMS and its staff may be familiar to some of our residents in the North West, where they have been carrying out repairs and maintenance on your homes for the past six years.

While the purchase means Muir will take over the running of OPBMS, it will remain business as usual in terms of the planned maintenance and repair works being carried out.

This is an exciting development for Muir, and this acquisition will also bring with it other benefits.

From a financial perspective, VAT can be saved on all labour costs. Any profits or surplus can be gift aided back to Muir – funds that will be reinvested .

The purchase of OPBMS means we will have greater control on how our maintenance services are prioritised and delivered for your benefit.
