David Gilburt

Muir Board member

 

David joined Muir as an Independent Co-opted member of the Group Audit & Risk Committee in 2021.

He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant with over 40 years’ experience as an accountant and more than 25 years as an NHS Finance Director.

More recently, David has used his considerable experience of financial management and governance in non-executive roles in a number of varied organisations. He is currently a Non-Executive Director and Audit Chair at Liverpool University Hospital's NHS Foundation Trust.

David is also on the Board of Liverpool Women's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Non-Executive Director, as well as being a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, Chester.
