We’re inclusive and committed to making getting involved easy and meaningful for everyone. By investing in our customer voice, we offer a range of ways for you to take part and get involved, in a way that suits you.
Our dedicated customer voice budget includes:
- Training and development for National Residents Group (NRG) and involved customers
- Wider mentoring and access to training opportunities
- Activities and events costs including advertising
- Transport costs and related expenses
- Venue hire and refreshments
- Equipment and technology costs
- Tpas Membership
- We also provide advice, training, and mentoring with a learning and development programme that builds skills, confidence and understanding - leading to real impact.
Removing barriers to engagement
We’re committed to removing barriers to engagement working with customers to meet diverse needs and consider reasonable adjustment to support you.
Some of the ways we support engagement are:
- Providing information in plain language, using our ‘On the Doorstep' writing style
- 1:1 session for information and support where required
- Mentoring / buddying
- Provision of transport / accommodation to attend events / meetings
- Support with some childcare / care costs
- Enable accessible meetings and events
- NRG members provided with iPad and mobile network and hybrid meeting options
- NRG annual reflections review
- Communication to meet the diverse needs of customers
