Our National Residents Group (NRG)
Our NRG is the formal resident’s body we work with, empowering customers to hold us to account. They:
- Support co-regulation, helping maximise customer led scrutiny and accountability through effective consultation, improvement, and assurance, working together to make a difference.
- Are a valued customer led critical friend and are empowered to commission customer led scrutiny exercises.
- Have a meaningful and influential relationship with the GCSC and Muir Group Board ensuring they work together effectively. The NRG Chair is a member of the GCSC.
The NRG help provide assurance:
- The consumer standard expected outcomes are being delivered and value for money is being achieved in service delivery.
- We’ve consulted with a diverse range of customers on key issues, policies and strategic priorities affecting the services we deliver, meeting the expectation of the Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard.
We regularly share performance and service improvement information with the NRG for scrutiny. You can also learn more about our performance here: Our Performance
The NRG produce an Annual Report of their activity and impact. This is published on our website and available here. This provides transparent and honest information to all customers.
