Jo Worthington - Community Housing Manager
I've worked in various roles across a number of housing organisations in a career spanning more than 20 years; leading on a range of different services including Community Safety, Tenancy Support & Safeguarding and Neighbourhoods.
The team manage everything tenancy, estate and income management related. This includes letting our properties, dealing with anti-social behavior and collecting rent.
I like to get out and about across the schemes the team cover. It's really rewarding to have a positive impact in our communities and make a real difference.
Lauren Albiston - Tenancy Services Officer
I enjoy my role because it's really varied and enables me to engage with residents and help people to secure housing.
I feel like I’m making a difference because everyone needs a roof over their head and when we're able to provide that it feels great.
I cover Chester City, which means I deal with a variety of different issues and lots of different people.
David Elsby - Income Services Officer
I really enjoy my role and always try to help my residents find a way forward when they have financial difficulties.
This may involve signposting them to Muir’s Tenancy Support Officers or third party organisations to help them maintain their tenancy.
I cover the Chester and Blacon areas.
Rachael Dodd - Tenancy Services Officer
I began working in housing in 2016 having previously worked in customer service.
Since then I've enjoyed various roles including Housing Assistant and Supported Housing Officer.
I cover Northwich and rural areas of Cheshire West and really enjoy seeing residents making their house a home.
Selina Salinger - Tenancy Services Officer
I began my career in Social Housing as an apprentice with Muir which allowed me to gain experience in all the front-line departments.
Working in the Customer Experience Team gave me the chance to speak with many Muir residents across the country and this encouraged me to become a Tenancy Services Officer.
I really enjoy getting out and about and chatting with residents in areas I cover, which include parts of Chester City and rural areas of Cheshire East and Cheshire West.
Amanda Thomas - Income Services Officer
My housing career began in 2009; and since joining Muir in 2017 I've loved helping residents in various communities.
I currently cover the Cheshire East and West rural areas and really enjoy my conversations with our residents and helping them manage their rent accounts.
But I also just catching up with them to see how they're doing.
Ross Turner - Tenancy Services Officer
I cover Blacon, Ellesmere Port, Frodsham and parts of Chester and really enjoy visiting after a new resident has set up home. It's great to see people put their own stamp on a property.
It's very rewarding to see the excitement on new residents faces - even more so the excitement of any children that are involved.
Providing people with a new home is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job.
