STAIRs - Social Tenants Access to Information Requirement scheme

What is STAIRs?

STAIRs is the Social Tenants Access to Information Requirement scheme. Introduced by UK Government to provide social housing residents with greater transparency around what we do and how we do it, STAIRs helps ensure we remain #honest.

Both the RSH policy statement and the HOS guidance require Registered Providers to set out a policy explaining how they’ll provide information to customers, respond to information requests and make decisions.

We're required to provide certain information to show how we work.

Chapter 1

From 1st October 2026 we'll publish specific information relating to how we deliver our services and manage our homes.

Our transparent approach means most of this information is already on the website, to make it easier you can access everything under the following headings:

Governance and decision making

Spending

Housing stock managament

Performance
